Global Warming – Only few are killing the planet

This shows how humans only do what they think is best for themselves and not for the planet. I would even say that if Global Warming is as severe as some scientists state that we have lost the race. Look at Bill Gates, he describes himself as forward thinking but in reality he chartered numerus helicopters just to fly some guestes to his birthday party, so for him blasting out CO2 for a little birthday fun is okey, now the worst part is that he has children that will have to pay for this exhuberance, if was without children I might even understand but to have children and then destroy the planet for them is just cruel. Bill Gates is also one of the biggest owners of farmland on the planet, now if farmers have to rent land instead of owning it, does the price for the crop go up or down? So while he earns more somebody has to pay for it and in this case it would be the average shopper as Walmart. Now I want to clarify that probably all of us would do the same if we were in his shoes. Thing is once you are that rich you cannot imagine what it is like to be poor, hence you cannot image what it is like to live on this planet for more than half of the worlds population and therefore you cannot make the right choices. Problem is that the kind of money he has puts him above anything or anyone who could stop him, so he can do what he wants but without feeling the consequences. Sorry Bill you are the scape goat right now, but of course you are not the only one, if we look are Greta Thunberg, she apears to care for the planet, still I wonder how many of her followers, either own or their parents own an SUV. I bet most of her attendies in the rich city of Munich/Germany live a quite comfortable life that allows them to even take part in a demonstration but if you walk past a school in the morning, you mostly see high motorized SUV’s bringing their kids to school. Well that is a blow, now these kids can do something actively against global warming, tell their parents to buy Fiat Punto if they really mean it, but instead it is easier to point the fingers at somebody else. So here we are at the point realizing that we all are the same, we only want to help ourselves, apart from very few people but I bet these people do not present themselves as some sort of vigilant or saviour of the earth, they just save the earth everyday without the need to tell everybody. I could also do more, but it would mean to sacrifice my standard of living and this is what I do not want as for probably 99% of humans on earth. So we can really only hope global warming is not so bad after all or a virus hits us and we all become selfless persons with a new sense that makes us feel right now that we are hurt the planet, cause one thing is also sure, we all change once it starts to impact us. I think that basically our mindset is stuck in the evolution of humans that started 100,000 years ago. Your chances of survival were higher if you put your life first. Also it was always good to have more than less, but in the last 100 years so many things have changed but our DNA has not and that is why I am sitting here writting and wasting energy where I should probably just turn off the computer and save it.

A problem with the amount of money someone like Bill Gates has could be that, in the event that some of his predictions („Next Pandamic will be 10 times worse“) do not fullfill itself, he could just create a 10 times worse pandemic, create a 10x worse virus, release a 10x worse Windows or fibble with his cloud.
